Band of Brothers [BOB] defeated February 5, 2009

The title says it all, Band of Brothers, one of the biggest alliances in the Eve Universe has been defeated by Goonswarm. The Goons, who became famous with its frigate tactics managed to turn over a director to their side. BOB has felt the loss of one of his highest members directly and in the evening the goons declared proudly in the official forums the defeat of Band of Brothers.

There´s a lot of rumors going around, like the goons hacked the account of the director and other stuff but I personally dont believe this shit. I think BOB was too long on the throne and now its time for new alliances and a lot more.  This Victory without loosing a single starship against BOB is a masterpiece and the  goons ventured and gained…

So, I contacted the corporation I talked about in my last article. At this moment Im at the stage of training but lets start at the beginning not in the middle of the story…

So, I joined the corp and the first thing I learned was the fact that I managed to create a character who will have major problems in the later content of the game so I decided to start a new character. This time, everything was okay and once again I started to skill mining and industrial ships. By the way, this time its a Calidari character.
Soon enough, I got the industrial skill to level 4 and I switched to learn the cruiser skill. At this moment I go mining with a Osprey who is Cruiser class and I using it with three mining lasers II and I don’t regret it this way.

I talked to the CEO of the corporation about my duties. What can I do to serve the corporation and how can I serve best. We talked a lot about my options and chances and I decided to do something that sounds boring to other people but its one of the most important jobs the corporation has to offer and in my personal opinion its one of the most fascinating too. Im talking about the Scout.  Well, I have to say that the corporation I joined is a trading and mining corporation so it is extremely important to know about save routes for the freighters that are flying to the POS (Player Owned Station) and back to the safe Space. Scouts also needed in case of a conflict with another corporation/Alliance. At the moment I skill to the Iterion Mark V. The Iterion is a industrial Vessel and the Mark V is the biggest one of its class. I decided to skill a Iterion is simple, from all races the Iterion of the Gallente has the biggest cargo bay. After reaching this goal, I will try to skill the Covert Ops skills. At least that I can fly them. If I can fly them, the scout training will begin and I really looking forward to it. In the meantime I finish the skills, working as hauler for the corporation and also as Miner.

So, I decided to start up as a gallente. My character is a Miner to make some profit with toasting some asteroids and sell the stuff. It works pretty well, got yesterday a output of 250.000 ISK a hour, its not bad for beginning. I buyed some skills and still learning them. Im looking forward to fly a industrial with a big cargohold and two mining lasers, wondering if that works. I love to be a freighterpilot. Flying to the edges of the universe and support the troops. Well, at this moment EVE is a little bit laggy but there a really big war going on in 0.0. I love War in Eve, all the market prizes for ore´s and stuff a higher than usually and its easy to make some profit. Maybe I found a corp buit they didnt know, I will try make a contact when the daily maintenance of the server is done.
